The human resource management of an organization should be in harmony with its strategy, structure, systems and the resources available in the organizations environment. Most organizations struggle to achieve this harmony. In addition the culture, values and the context have to be taken into account. Analyzing your organization in this respect enables you to develop a matching HRM system.

Course objectives

You will learn the scope and function of each element in the human resource management system and be able to design your own HRM system to be in harmony with your organizations strategic needs. Develop clear systems for recruiting monitoring and developing your staff to contribute to the sustainability of your organization as it grows and changes to its environment.

Understanding the planning cycle of an organization and the generation of a manpower plan as the keystone to all HRM activities

Employing the right employee

Understand the recruitment, selection and induction of the employee as a critical function HR function played by HR staff.

Performance Management

Developing a plan to train and develop the employee to perform at his/her peak within the shortest period of time

Retention

Being able to provide the employees with opportunities which keep them continuously performing at their peak and making them satisfied with what they get in return for their performance.
