As organizations grow and evolve over a period of time they develop in their capacity. However, in today’s rapidly changing environment organizations does not have time for organic development of its capacity. As such, to achieve organizational objectives, individual organizations need to continually develop their capacity to match the expected level of organizational performance.

Therefore, organizational development has to be undertaken with a systematic analysis of its existing capacity and plans to develop capacity to the desired level. For this appropriate models and tools for organizational diagnosis must be used to enhance the quality of the organizational development recommendations.

Course objectives

The Organizational Development course provides a comprehensive tool kit with a range of instruments that can be used to bring out key issues hindering or helping the organizations performance. Based on this, systemic interventions for improvement of the capacity of the organization can be developed and implemented. The overall aim of which is to equip the organization to become more successful in achieving their objectives and ultimately fulfilling their mandate.
