The professionalization of the development sector has resulted in professional project managers being employed. These managers practice contemporary management techniques and tools. Course objectives

The PM course covers all the technical areas of development sector project management. This intensive course provides practical hands on skills in these areas as well as an opportunity to meet and discuss issues regarding project management with project managers from different projects / areas.

Course content

Being able to formulate a Logical Framework is a key technical skill of a project manager. This course will provide you with the knowledge and the technical skills as well as the experience of creating a log frame

Project Implementation

Project managers have experienced the gulf between planning and implementation. Be able to understand the issues and cope with them during implementation.

Project Organization

Be able to analyse and identify the capacity development needs of the project organization

Project Monitoring

Having a fully functional monitoring system provides the project manager to set indicators and monitor the progress of the project, learn from mistakes and best practices and benchmark performance, and develop cases for support for resource mobilization.

Project financial management

Learn how to manage the project financials and understand the financial cycle.

Project Evaluation

Learn the importance and types of evaluation at the project managers disposal to evaluate, learn and write proposals for new projects
